Here I am going to analyse the last 5 years question papers asked in NTSE Stage 1 Bihar. Now you will ask that why should we do analysis of the question papers asked in previous years? So, after seeing this table, first of all let me inform you that I have not provided any exact number in the the 'no. of questions asked' section, rather I have provided some range. For example: In series chapter the no. of questions asked is 6-17 means that in last 5 years the minimum number of questions asked from this chapter was 6 and the maximum number of questions asked was 17. The common trend seen in last 5 years states that 80% of questions were asked from Verbal Reasoning and 20% of questions were asked from Non-verbal Reasoning. So, if you will see the difficulty level of questions then it is medium. Overall question paper is very standard and you can score 80+ marks easily out of 100.

In Science section, Physics is mostly of class 9 & 10 and is medium in difficulty level and questions are very standard and tricky. Chemistry is mostly of class 10 and many questions in Chemistry are asked from class 11 & 12 and is hard in difficulty level and isn't a standard question. Biology is mostly of class 9 & 10 and is easy in difficulty level and questions are very standard. Overall Science section is little harder than medium in difficulty level and you can score 25+ easily.

In Social Science section, most of the questions are asked from class 9 & 10 SCERT book but the syllabus of class 9 & 10 of Bihar is almost similar to NCERT. But for Geography you have to read Bihar's Geography more. For History you should also remember some important points related to Bihar's History. Overall difficulty level of Social Science section is easy and you can score 35+ easily.

In Mathematics, the questions were asked according to the syllabus of class 9 & 10 issued by SCERT Bihar which also includes some topics like Logarithm. The difficulty of questions is little bit hard and time taking so it is recommended to you to practice more in Mathematics to score more. Otherwise it is even hard to score 10-12 marks in Mathematics
