If you want to improve your performance you have to give your best. So, I am Your Mentor Dost here to tell you 'How To Prepare For CBSE Term 2 Exam?  Zero To Hero Strategy '. Here I will give you complete strategy for every chapter of three main subjects, i.e. Mathematics, Science and Social Science. So, let's begin!

    Mathematics

    Based on the Sample Question Paper Analysis of Mathematics released by CBSE, you should follow the following chronology in your preparation:-

    Statistics

    From this chapter there is fair chance that total questions worth of 8 marks would be asked. I will recommend you to solve only NCERT and NCERT Exemplar for this chapter.

    Tips: Remember the formulae to find mean, median and mode.

    Heights Distance

    From this chapter there is fair chance that total questions worth of 7 marks would be asked. I will recommend you to solve first NCERT and NCERT Exemplar including examples for this chapter. Then, you should solve atleast 15-20 questions from any Questions Bank to get the idea of questions asked. 

    Tips: Pay more imphasis on word problems given in NCERT textbook for this chapter and learn the values of sin30°,sin60°,cos30°,cos60°,tan30°,tan45° and tan60°.

    Arithmetic Progressions

    From this chapter there is fair chance that total questions worth of 6 marks would be asked. I will recommend you to solve first NCERT and NCERT Exemplar including examples for this chapter. Then, you should solve atleast 10-15 questions from any Questions Bank to get the idea of questions asked. 

    Tips: Also solve the problems of deleted portion of this chapter. And remember all the formulae of this chapter.

    Surface Areas And Volumes 

    From this chapter there is fair chance that total questions worth of 6 marks would be asked. I will recommend you to solve only NCERT including examples for this chapter. Then, you should solve atleast 7-10 questions from any Questions Bank to get the idea of questions asked. 

    Tips: This chapter is fully based on formulae so remember all the formulae and the most frequently asked topic from this chapter is 'Combination of Solids' so, practice questions from  this topic more.

    Circles

    From this chapter there is fair chance that total questions worth of 6 marks would be asked. I will recommend you to solve only NCERT including examples for this chapter.

    Tips: Do all the proofs given in RS Aggarwal or RD Sharma beside of NCERT.

    Quadratic Equations

    From this chapter there is fair chance that total questions worth of 4 marks would be asked. I will recommend you to solve first NCERT and NCERT Exemplar including examples for this chapter. Then, you should solve atleast 5-10 questions from any Questions Bank to get the idea of questions asked. 

    Tips: In this examination questions related to 'Discriminant of quadratic equations' and 'factorisation of quadratic equations' would asked more. So, practice more questions to these topics.

    Constructions

    From this chapter there is fair chance that total questions worth of 3 marks would be asked. I will recommend you to solve only NCERT including examples for this chapter.

    After following this process you should solve atleast 5 sample question paper of Oswaal or Educart. By doing these processes no-one can stop you to score 95%+ in Mathematics.
